Itinerary

Day 1:	arrive Rio de Janeiro. Time to relax at your hotel.
Days 2-3:	visit Tijuca Forest National Park and the Corcovado, relax at the beach or visit the Botanical Gardens.
Day 4:	morning flight to Manaus. Join vessel and sail to the Xiborena region.
Days 5-8:	days spent on the river exploring by canoe or simply sailing along. Enjoy fantastic bird-watching, visits to water-side villages, fishing, forest walks, nocturnal excursions.
Day 9:	canoe trip amongst giant waterlillies (seasonal) before returning to Manaus for overnight.
Day 10:	morning city tour of Manaus with it’s floating docks and market. Afternoon departure to Acajatuba Jungle Lodge.
Days 11-12:	sunrise tour of surrounding area followed by a guided walking trek into the Amazon forest. Afternoon piranha fishing trip; returning to the lodge possibly see the shy river dolphins.
Day 13:	after breakfast return to Manaus and afternoon flight to Rio. Overnight Rio.
Day 14:	day at leisure and depart on return flight home or further travel within Latin America.
