Itinerary

Day 1:	fly from Lima to Arequipa for afternoon city tour.
Day 2:	drive across Pampa Canahuas within the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, for two-day overland trip to the Colca Valley.
Day 3:	early departure to Cruz del Condor to view these magnificent birds in flight. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 4:	take a 7-hour bus ride to Puno for an adventure at Lake Titicaca.
Day 5:	full day boat excursion on the lake visiting the unique Uros floating islands. Continue to Taquile Island home to the Aymara tribe.
Day 6:	drive to Cusco passing herds of llamas and alpacas and through little villages. Visit Pucara fortress and the Temple of Raqchi and Andahuaylillas, a picturesque colonial village. (Optional train service available on specific days).
Day 7:	morning at leisure to explore Cusco. Afternoon tour of the city and surrounding Inca sites.
Day 8:	drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and the colourful Pisac market.
Day 9:	transfer to Ollanta train station for the Orient Express service to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of this stunning citadel.
Day 10:	optional return visit to Machu Picchu to enjoy the sunrise over the terraces. Afternoon train back to Cusco.
Day 11:	at leisure in Cusco.
Day 12:	return flight to Lima.
