Here is a summary of the itineraries we offer for student group visits. The destinations we feature, Iceland, New York and Namibia, are suitable for hands-on field study, ‘awe & wonder’ or purely social and recreational visits.
ICELAND
This is a land still being shaped by nature with probably the greatest variety of stunning scenery and unspoilt wilderness in Europe.
South Iceland
The island in a nutshell and our main study area covering a huge range of topics
North Iceland
Volcanoes and glacial scenery dominate providing something a little different
South East Iceland
The big glaciers provide a very special field study experience
West Iceland
An alternative study area in a very beautiful Snaefellsnes Peninsula
NEW YORK
Few cities in the world can rival this urban jungle for excitement and sheer scale.
Iceland & New York
Contrast the ruggedness of Iceland with the extraordinary city of New York. Great for geographers and students of tourism studies.
NAMIBIA
Boasting the oldest desert in the world and the highest sand dunes, this southern African country couldn’t be more markedly different to sub-Arctic Iceland or urban New York.
Northern Namibia
Desert bordered by coast and the huge salt flat of Etosha National Park shape this region, which provides the focus of our itinerary.
Southern Namibia
Desert dominates this area, with the red dunes of the Kalahari to the east and the ancient dunes of the Namib Desert to the west.
