“Our trip was everything we had hoped for. Every little detail fit into place which led to a dream holiday”
Mr & Mrs Anderson
Kingdom of the Icebear. |
|
| Every year, a remote Canadian town called Churchill is transformed into the polar bear capital of the world. In October and November, as many as 1200 polar bears gather here on the icy tundra, waiting for the sea in the bay to freeze so they can wander out in search of seals. Excellent polar bear sightings are virtually guaranteed and it's not unusual to see dozens of bears in a single day. |
