Iceland & Greenland Travel Consultant
Based at our offices in Banstead, we are looking for a highly motivated and eloquent sales professional to specialise in our leading Iceland and Greenland department. The ideal candidate must have previous specialist/tailormade sales experience within a tour operator (preferably an independent specialist tour op); knowledge of Iceland and Greenland would be a distinct advantage. As a Travel Consultant, you will handle reservations over the telephone, face-to-face and email/Internet, to a wide-ranging and demanding client base. You will work in a small, friendly team of consultants, supported by the operations staff and team managers.
In addition to a competitive starting salary of £16,000 we also offer:

Salary progression to £18,000 with experience/competence
Hours of work:
35 hours per week plus an additional 48 hours (Saturdays) over the year
9-5pm or 10-6pm rota Monday to Friday
No more than 1 in 2 Saturdays per month between 9-5pm (taking a day off in the week) – nb: current Saturday hours are 9-1 with weekday lieu time, but hours may change dependent on business requirements.
