Hotel Hellnar
Driving directions from Reykjavik:
Take Road 1 to Borgarnes. On the way you'll drive through the Hvalfjordur tunnel, which is a toll gate. As you leave Borgarnes, take the second exit from the round-about onto Road 54. Stay on Road 54 till you come to the junction of Road 54 and Road 574. Make a left turn onto Road 574 and drive for 19 km till you see the sign for Hellnar. Make a left turn down to Hellnar. Once down the hill, make the first left turn, drive past the Snaefellsjokull National Park's Visitor Centre and the church, and then make a right turn into the driveway of Hotel Hellnar.
Travelling time:
About 50 minutes to Borgarnes from Reykjavik and about 1 hour 25 minutes from Borgarnes to Hellnar. Total travelling time is roughly 2 1/4 hours.
