Introduction to Hotel Hrausnef
The restaurant is open all year (except in January) and every day from 12:00 to 21:30 where guests can enjoy an extensive and fantastic menu of traditional Icelandic cuisine, with hamburgers and lighter fare available for children. There are two hot tubs on site, fed by the naturally-occurring hot springwater. Hraunsnef is a friendly and informal family-run property, with unique adventure tours on offer, guided by Hraunsnef’s owner, Johann, in his trusty landrover (bookable and payable locally)!
As well as 10 rooms with private facilities, Hotel Hraunsnef also has several smaller cottages (approx. 15sqm), and one larger cottage (25sqm) which consist of a kitchenette with sleeping and living area in one room.
