Hotel Hraunsnef is located in West Iceland, approx. 35 km north of Borgarnes. This charming and homely hotel is located in a two storey building with the reception, restaurant and a bar on the ground floor. The 10 ensuite rooms are on the first floor; each has its own entrance to the building, with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Farmer Johann, Bryndis and their family have created a lovely homely place to stay, with thoughful touches. The hotel also has several cottages.
This itinerary is one of our favourites; combining the magical Snaefellsnes Peninsula and access to some of the most incredible views in the West Fjords, including the remote and picturesque town of Isafjordur. A selection of charming accommodation in truly spectacular locations adds to the mix. This is perhaps one of our most scenic itineraries, and will surely take your breath away.
