About Hotel Klettur
Hotel Klettur is just a stone's throw from downtown Reykjavik. The hotel has 86 rooms, of which there are 66 standard rooms and 20 deluxe rooms. 10 of the deluxe rooms have a private balconies and the other 10 have a great view overlooking the bay and surrounding mountains. The hotel has a lovely lounge situated on first floor and a breakfast room.
The hotel’s name is derived from the rock ('klettur') found on the first floor of the hotel, which artfully protrudes through the wall! The hotel’s look and interior derives its inspiration from Icelandic nature, especially Iceland's fascinating geology.
Choose from either a standard or deluxe room:
Standard rooms are bright, and half of these enjoy a view towards Mount Esja.
Deluxe rooms are simple, stylish and spacious. Half have private balconies and a view over the city (towards Hafnarfjordur), the rest with views towards the sea or Mount Esja. Deluxe rooms are on the top two floors of the hotel and have a shared lounge and balcony to the south.
All rooms have a refrigerator, telephone, television, iron and ironing board, safe, hair dryer and internet connection.
Check in starts at 15:00, check out is no later than 11:00.

Hotel Klettur is located on the road 'Mjolnisholt' in Reykjavik. The main shopping street Laugavegur is just a two minute walk away. Free parking for the hotel's guests is a short distance from the hotel (reception will give directions upon arrival - it is possible to park briefly infront of the hotel).
