Hotel Reykjahlid
Hotel Reykjahlid was the first hotel to be built in the Myvatn area. It was built in 1947 and has been extensively renovated in the past few years. Hotel Reykjahlid has 9 comfortable rooms, each one with new beds and private facilities. Breakfast and dinner are served in the ground floor restaurant and there's ample parking in front of the hotel. From the TV lounge on the top floor, there is a marvellous bird's-eye view over the lake. In fact, many bird watchers have enjoyed studying the birds on the lake from the hotel's windows. Hotel Reykjahlid is centrally located in the area, within easy walking distance to the super market, post office, bank and other services. The hotel takes pride in its personal service and strives to assist the guests in any way it can.
