Hotel Reykjahlid
The fully licensed restaurant has a great lakeside view to go with the reputation. The highest quality raw material that is available is used and both traditional and more exotic courses are on offer. Emphasis is thrown on local specialities such as lamb, salmon and arctic charr. Vegetarians and children are also catered for. The menu would not be complete without the smoked trout, geothermally baked rye bread and traditional skyr. There is also the offer of a great alternative to fast food, which is not featured on the menu.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner during the high season in June, July and August. In May and September the restaurant is open for dinner but lunch is on request. From October through to April, lunch and dinner are served on request and in advance.
