  As autumn moves into winter in the northern hemisphere, spring is in full swing Down Under in Australia and New Zealand.
  

  
  Things are really starting to heat up in Australia and this is an ideal time to visit the temperate southern states of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Jump in a hire car and drive one of the most spectacular coastal roads, explore lakes, rivers and beaches, enjoy numerous watersports and hiking activities, and relax in true Australian style!

  New Zealand is also coming into bloom during November and is a great time to experience the ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ before the summer season kicks off. Take time to drive around North and South Islands, discovering iconic cultural experiences, 'must do' attractions and stunning scenery.

  Pristine Antarctica

  November in Antarctica is a truly magical experience. On the Falkland Islands the sheer numbers of penguins, seals and pelagic birds is quite staggering.
  

  
  It's the breeding time of year - witness the spectacular sight of thousands of penguins forming colonies with almost military precision, elephant seals and sea lions breeding on Sea Lion Island, and around 10,000 breeding pairs of black-browed albatross nesting on Saunders Island. Add to this beautiful spring flowers in bloom and the gloriously pristine landing sites and it’s apparent that November is a fantastic time to visit. And don’t forget, it’s a tad cheaper than peak season too!
