Excursions for Northern Territory:

Desert Awakenings; ULURU

Duration 5 hours
Price: £85 per person
Departures: 05.00 daily

This memorable experience starts as your guide shows you the constellations, before the sun gradually rises over the desert offering breathtaking views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a light breakfast before visiting the Mutitjulu Waterhole and Cultural Centre, where you will learn about the belief systems of the local Anangu people.

Kakadu and Yellow Water; DARWIN

Duration 13.5 hours
Price: £135 per person
Departures: Daily, year round.

Covering some 20,000 square kilometres, Kakadu is Australia’s largest national park and its wetlands and ancient escarpment are home to one of Australia’s most diverse bird populations. Visit Warradjan Aboriginal Culture Centre, join a guided cruise on Yellow Water billabong where you will see plenty of wildlife, hopefully including crocodiles. See rock art sites at Nourlangie Rock and stop at Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre to learn about the wildlife, seasonal changes, the various animal groups and local Aboriginal and European history of the area. Enjoy a complimentary drink with views over the floodplains before returning to Darwin.
