The holiday opportunities in Australia are endless with every state and territory offering its own unique attractions, climate and landscapes. Some of the most iconic landmarks in the world can be found here, from the Sydney Opera House to the awe-inspiring Ayers Rock, with the spectacular Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo Reef offering a chance to explore a colourful marine-world too.

Drive the Great Ocean Road, sail amongst the scattered islands of the Whitsundays or search for Tasmanian Devils in the lush native bush of Tasmania. Learn to surf at Bondi Beach, immerse yourself in Aborigine culture at the Red Centre, enjoy fine wines in the Barossa Valley and wonder at the limestone formations of the Pinnacles Desert. For wildlife enthusiasts, Australia is magical, with countless encounters to be had from the tropical north to the far south.

Wherever you choose to visit you can be assured of a warm, down-to-earth welcome and a wealth of experiences and memories.

About Australia
Australia is an island surrounded by three oceans and four seas. About 40% of the country is in the tropics and it’s almost the same size as the mainland United States. With a fascinating and sadly turbulent indigenous history, and strong European ties, Australia is home to a diverse mix of cultures this results in some vibrant and cosmopolitan cities.
Australia is also renowned for its fascinating wildlife, from sleepy koalas to cute kangaroos, wombats and possums, to the less cuddly crocodiles and snakes and the endless wealth of marine life to be found off-shore, including sharks, whales and penguins, nowhere else will you find such bizarre looking animals! Close encounters either in the wild or in the excellent wildlife parks, farms and zoos make for a memorable part of your Australia holiday.

Apart from its unique wildlife and its friendly and hospitable people, Australia is a fascinating destination whatever your interests. Hotels are rated among the best in the world, while restaurants, representative of all nationalities and to suit all tastes, abound in Australia. On the coast, seafood is particularly good and comparatively inexpensive. Wines in Australia are excellent and the numerous vineyards are well worth a visit.

Passports and Visas/ Entry Formalities
British residents will require a valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) for entry into Australia. This system replaces the need for a visa and enables passengers to be processed more quickly on arrival in Australia. The ETA has a 12 month validity, enabling multiple stays of up to 3 months each visit. Our specialist team will be pleased to arrange the ETA on your behalf.
