Finnish Lapland

LOG CABINS & IGLOOS - Kakslauttanen
Situated in the vast and breathtaking fell area of Saariselka, 300km north of the Arctic Circle. Here is the setting for one of our most popular winter breaks where you have the option to stay in a cosy log cabin with a night in an ice room or a quirky glass igloo!
This is a serene, quite isolated part of Finland, with a very romantic feel and therefore a popular wedding and honeymoon destination. With great possibilities for watching the northern lights across wide, uninterrupted skies, and a great number of optional excursions, it is also popular with families or groups of friends.
SNOW HOTEL & WINTER ACTIVITIES - Lainio Snow Village & Yllas
This delightful Snow Village is a great attraction – here you can experience sleeping on ice – other facilities built entirely from the white stuff include an ice bar, a lovely ice chapel, circular ice restaurant and an art gallery. Alternatively, we offer a luxury tepee but with there only being one, it is very popular.
In the nearby town of Yllas, the dry climate, plentiful powder and numerous undulating slopes have made it Finland’s most popular ski resort - the facilities are welcoming and first-rate. Whether a novice or an advanced skier, all abilities are catered for and unlike many Alpine resorts, Yllas never feels crowded. But it isn’t just skiing that can be found here, there are many other winter activities. Stay at a choice of apart-hotel or spa hotel, a short drive from the Snow Village at Lainio.
LOG CABINS & SPA HOTEL - Jerisjarvi
This trip is set in the part of the northern Finnish fells close to Pallas-Ounastunturi National Park - an area of mile upon mile of unspoilt scenery. There is no downhill skiing here and although other activities are available, many come for complete rest and relaxation. The beautifully secluded Hotel Jeris has a Japanese Spa and focuses on peace, harmony and wellbeing. Spa and other treatments are available but must be pre-booked. The lovely wooden cabins are dotted amongst the trees close to the shores of Lake Jerisjarvi.
LOG CABINS & WINTER ACTIVITIES - Iso-Syote
Iso-Syote is a very special place on the southern border of Finnish Lapland. This is actually Finland’s southernmost fell area, situated in Syote National Park, around 150km below the Arctic Circle. It is charming and secluded resort with 15 slopes and 20km of runs. Here we present a hotel and wonderful collection of hilltop accommodation.

Show Me More»Thank you so much for all the help in organising our Lapland wedding trip, we had a fabulous time. We particularly enjoyed the husky safari. It was such a buzz driving a dog team through that beautiful terrain.
