For flexible/tailor-made itineraries such as with our self-drive options and some of our short break suggestions (including Reykjavik City Break), there is the choice to either collect a vehicle at the airport upon arrival in Iceland, or to take a transfer into Reykjavik (and vice-versa when departing). Find out more about our airport transfer service below.

Airport Transfers

We operate an excellent transfer service between the international airport at Keflavik, and your accommodation in Reykjavik (taxi or minibus), and vice-versa. This is in conjunction with local company Hopferdir ehf, and means that there is no need to change vehicles at the Bus Station/BSI Terminal (as is necessary with the Flybus service).  Upon arrival at Keflavik there will be be a representative waiting in the Arrivals Hall and the vehicle will be parked just outside. There will be no more than 3 hotel drop offs/pick ups in total during the transfer - meaning you have a swift and convenient transfer, starting (or ending) your holiday in comfort. 

Please note this is NOT the FlyBus/Reykjavik Excursions service (which operates via the Bus Station/BSI terminal) - should you board this service by mistake, a non-refundable charge of approximately ISK2000 will be payable. This also applies for the return journey to Keflavik.

Rekjavik to Keflavik Transfer Collection Times
When spending the final night of your Iceland holiday in Reykjavik, it is important to take note of the transfer collection times and be ready and waiting at your hotel reception for your transfer to Keflavik. 

Clients must be ready with their luggage at the hotel reception (or at Reykjavik City Airport, if appropriate) at the pick up time stated below - vehicles may arrive at that time or anytime within 30 minutes thereafter. As the transfer vehicles operate to a tight schedule, once passengers and luggage are loaded, the buses will depart and cannot wait for any absent/delayed passengers. • Transfer time between Reykjavik and Keflavik Airport approx. 45-60 mins.
• Check-in time at Keflavik Airport for international flights is recommended at 2 hrs prior to departure.
