This day tour to the tranquil setting of Hanmer Springs includes a visit to Waipara Springs winery, a working sheep farm and the chance to relax in Hanmer’s thermal pools. An afternoon activity offers a choice of jet boating, white water rafting or golf. Lunch in Hanmer Springs is included.

Take a breathtaking flight on a hot air balloon at sunrise over the plains surrounding Christchurch. Help prepare the balloon for flight then get on board with the expert pilot and glide across the skies. Toast the landing with a glass of champagne. Flights are weather dependent.

This tour offers a Maori cultural experience, visiting various significant sites in and around Kaikoura while listening to tales of bygone days handed down through many generations. This superb scenic flight traverses the Southern Alps offering views of the West Coast ice fields, the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers as well as those the Tasman and Murchison glaciers. The flight departs from either Franz Josef Glacier or Lake Tekapo and is weather dependent.

Sperm whales, can be seen off Kaikoura all year round while humpbacks (Jun & Jul) and orcas (Dec to Feb) occasionally put in an appearance. Dusky dolphins are also commonly spotted on the trips especially in the summer months, along with many seabirds and occasionally fur seals.
