This half day adventure begins with a stunning 40-minute drive to Glenorchy. Wet weather gear is provided before you board the jet boat. Weave through labyrinths of fast flowing water channels, dart up shingle river terraces, glide into tranquil deep rock chasms and see towering snow-capped peaks, glaciers and waterfalls. Hear tales of early settlers while enjoying a warm drink and snack.

Travel by coach to Manapouri then cruise across the lake. Continue by coach over Wilmot Pass through dense rainforest. At Deep Cove board the Fiordland Navigator for a leisurely exploration of Doubtful Sound. The vessel anchors in a secluded spot where a 3-course buffet evening meal is served. Optional kayaking excursions are available at no extra cost. The following morning enjoy breakfast and further cruising before returning to Te Anau.

This region boasts some of the world’s most scenic multi-day walking tracks that enable you to immerse yourself in New Zealand’s incredible wilderness. The Milford Track which follows the trails through Fiordland National Park has a reputation all of its own and can be enjoyed on a 5-day expertly guided trip. The 3-day Routeburn Track traverses wild mountain country between the Hollyford and Dart Valleys and many claim its scenery to equal that of the better known Milford Track.
