WHEN TO GO
New Zealand’s glorious landscapes and range of activities can be enjoyed at any time of year – each of its four distinct seasons, which are opposite to our own, have their own appeal. Summer (Dec to Feb) often brings long, warm days and mild nights, while in contrast the winter months (Jun to Aug) are likely to offer spectacular snowy vistas and are the best time to combine with a Pacific island stopover. The shoulder seasons of autumn (Mar to May) and spring (Sep to Nov) are naturally warmer than winter, yet are less crowded than the summer months. find out more »
