When on holiday, especially on a short break, we believe that it is essential to make the most of your time away. One of the easiest ways to do this is to use the most convenient flight options available and avoid any unnecessary time 'in transit' or changing planes. With this in mind we introduced a direct flight from London Heathrow to Kiruna, just 20 minutes from the Icehotel. This is the only direct flight from the UK.

Whilst we do offer the option to fly via Stockholm, and indeed the chance to stop over there, our direct flight is the quickest way to reach the Icehotel.

KEY BENEFITS TO YOU

		SAVE TIME & ARRIVE RELAXED  Maximise your time away with our 3½ hour flight to Kiruna. This can save you up to 4½ hours when compared to the travelling via Stockholm.
		COMPLIMENTARY HOT MEALS Scheduled services via Stockholm don't include a complimentary meal service - you'll be able to buy drinks and light snacks onboard but only on our direct flight, will you be able to enjoy a hot meal with wine, beer and soft drinks, inlcuded in the price.
		SOCIABLE FLIGHT TIMES By flying direct you'll have far friendlier flight times. Depart Heathrow at 10:35 and land in Kiruna at 15:05. And on the return journey, depart Kiruna at 14:30 and land at Heathrow at 16:55. However, if you travel via Stockholm, flights depart Heathrow at either 07:00, meaning a very early start or 15:35, which means arriving in Kiruna at 23:40. It is even a requirement on some dates to stop overnight in Stockholm.
		REDUCED RISK FOR LOST LUGGAGE When flying direct there is no need to change planes which may have tight connections, increasing the risk of your luggage not making it to the destination - always a bonus!
		ADDITIONAL DEPARTURES Scheduled services via Stockholm don't operate throughout the season. For example, should you wish to fly to the Icehotel for Valentines Day, the only way to get there is by flying with us direct.
		PRE-BOOK SEATS On our direct flight it is possible to reserve any seats* in advance at no extra cost, so if you'd like that little bit of extra leg room by booking an aisle seat or you'd like to confirm seats together for your party, simply give us call. When flying scheduled services however, you'll need to wait until check-in to choose any seats and there is no guarantee that you will be able to sit together. *except emergency exit seats which must be allocated at check-in.
