WINTER: Travel to Swedish Lapland and you’ll discover a true winter wonderland. Go skiing or snowboarding amidst stunning snow clad mountains, explore vast areas of pristine forest and frozen lakes, enjoy snowmobiling, husky sledging, ice driving and more. 'Sleep on ice' in the world famous ICEHOTEL (designed and rebuilt each year) and search the night sky for the mystical northern lights. It doesn’t get better than this! You can extend your stay in Sweden with a stopover in Stockholm, Sweden’s beautiful capital city. Stretched across an archipelago of 14 islands connected by a network of waterways and bridges, Stockholm is a delightful mix of the traditional and contemporary and the city centre can be easily explored on foot.
SUMMER: Our summer self-drive trips open up the stunning Swedish countryside and sparlking coastline. In the southern province of Skane (pronounced 'Skorr-ner') we offer three new itineraries. With a mild climate and an ambience reminiscent of the South of France, Skane is building on its reputation as a quality holiday destination. Alternatively West Sweden, with a coastline stretching from Gothenburg to the Norweigan border, boasts a spectacular archipelago of around 8000 islands and inlets, picture postcard hamlets and harbours, golden dunes and a character all of its own. Both regions however, promote a relaxed pace of life and that includes the driving. You'll have ample opportunities to explore on foot or perhaps by bicycle, helping you to build an appetite as you'll be faced with plenty of delectable dining experiences - you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to wonderful seafood and heavenly desserts!
