Introduction
Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge sits amongst a beautiful birch stand along a sandy beach on the northeast shore of Aikens Lake, with world class trophy fishing just a cast away. Aikens Lake ranks among the top walleye destinations in North America, and the area also boasts a number of walking trails. The extensive forests are home to caribou and wolves, and have a fascinating history of fur-traders and indigenous culture.
The Lodge features a spacious dining room and lounge with panoramic views of the lake, as well as a clubroom and tavern. Accommodation is in Sunset or Boardwalk chalets, offering beautiful lake views and a comfortable and spacious place to sleep at the end of a long day in the wilderness.
This short break package departs from the city of Winnipeg, capital of Manitoba, and includes memorable transfers by float-plane out to the lodge itself. A 3-night stay offers plenty of opportunity for fishing, hiking and relaxing by the lake.
