9Day 1 Vancouver-Victoria arrive at Vancouver airport and transfer to Vancouver Island. Enjoy a welcome reception this evening in Victoria, the charming capital city of British Columbia.

Day 2 Victoria visit the Butchart Gardens for breakfast to explore the floral displays, before enjoying the rest of the day enjoying your preferred Freedom of Choice touring option – whale watching, seaplane flight-seeing and a horse-drawn carriage tour are among the excursions available.

Day 3 Victoria-Whistler journey by ferry and coach to Whistler along the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular drives. Alternatively travel by floatplane - optional, at additional expense.

Day 4 Whistler-Kelowna travel through the Cariboo area before arriving in Kelowna, a renowned winery area in the Okanagan region.

Day 5 Kelowna-Banff continue through Mt Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho National Parks, and on to Banff. Tonight enjoy a Dine Around Dinner at your choice of restaurant at The Fairmont Banff Springs.

Day 6 Banff enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff then join your selected touring activity. Choose from a Banff experience, helicopter ride over the Rockies, round of golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs, Bow River float trip or a cruise on Lake Minnewanka.

Day 7 Banff-Lake Louise this morning ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for spectacular views. Then head to tranquil Moraine Lake, a glacially-fed lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. In the afternoon arrive at Lake Louise, the Jewel of the Rockies, a beautiful aqua lake set against the backdrop of Victoria Glacier. Tonight choose to dine in one of the chateau’s four restaurants.

Day 8 Lake Louise join a walk with Mountain Heritage Guides, who will describe the natural history and stories of the area and point out photographic opportunities. Later ride the Lake Louise Gondola for spectacular views.

Day 9 Lake Louise-Jasper journey along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s great scenic drives, travelling along a chain of massive icefields straddling the Continental Divide. Stopping at the giant Columbia Icefield, take a ride in a specially designed Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy the opportunity stand on the glacial ice that once fell as snow some 400 years ago. Continuing the journey north, arrive this afternoon in Jasper National Park, a fairytale mountain retreat boasting the best in modern amenities and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Tonight you can choose your Dine Around Dinner at one of The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s four outstanding restaurants.

Day 10 Jasper enjoy your selected touring experience – ride the Jasper Tramway, take an interpretive nature hike, go on a Maligne Valley Wildlife Safari or raft down Athabasca River.

Day 11 Jasper-Kamloops board the Rocky Mountaineer train. In GoldLeaf Service you can sit back and relax, enjoying the scenery through your glass-domed carriage. Perhaps enjoy a dinner show tonight, at additional cost.
Overnight: Kamloops, hotel assigned by Rocky Mountaineer. Kamloops has limited accommodation (two or three-star hotels). (BL)
Day 12 Kamloops-Vancouver pass Hell’s Gate and Fraser Canyon en route to Vancouver.
Overnight: The Fairmont Waterfront (BL)
Day 13 Vancouver tour Vancouver, including a stroll among the treetops along the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The afternoon is then at leisure. Tonight enjoy a special Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 14 Vancouver 15-day land-only tour guests depart after breakfast with a transfer to the airport.
21-day tour guests board the ship for your Alaskan cruise. Settle into your comfortable Verandah Stateroom as you sail north.

Day 15 Inside Passage enjoy a day at sea as your ship wends its way past rocky headlands, over the still blue waters of the Inside Passage. (BLD)
Day 16 Inside Passage-Tracy Arm glide through the narrow and winding Tracy Arm and see spectacular granite cliffs and thousands of calving icebergs. (BLD)
Day 17 Tracy Arm-Juneau Juneau was named after gold prospector Joe Juneau, after originally being known as Rockwell and then Harrisburg. Juneau has been Alaska’s capital since 1906. This afternoon you may wish to explore Tongass National Forest (own expense). (BLD)
Day 18 Juneau-Sitka arrive in the Alaskan town of Sitka, rich in Russian and Tlingit culture. This beautiful coastal settlement is flanked by the Pacific Ocean and snow-capped mountains. Enjoy time to explore. (BLD)
Day 19 Sitka-Ketchikan Ketchikan is the place to indulge in all things to do with salmon. Enjoy time at leisure and maybe join a walking tour of the town including a visit to the busy fishing harbour and the historic red light district, where the wooden houses that still stand today were built on stilts over the water. (BLD)
Day 20 Ketchikan-Victoria enjoy a relaxing day at sea and spend the evening docked in Victoria. (BLD)
Day 21 Victoria-Seattle disembark in Seattle after breakfast. Enjoy time at leisure before your transfer to the airport. (B)
