The skiing instructor will teach you the technique and offer advise on different aspects of skiing. Once you have mastered this sport, you can take on the specially prepared ski tracks and spend as much time as you like exploring the forests and fields. You can keep the skis until 16:00 the following day. Minimum group size for the ski school is 4.

After an introduction to the art of snow shoeing head in to the forest to test your new skills. Enjoy the silent nature surrounding you and experience how the local people used to travel through the snow.

The stunning surrounds of the Lainio Snow Village are ideal for this activity. Drive your own dog sledge and then stop for a drink and sausages cooked around the camp fire.

Transfer to the Husky Farm, where the mushers will meet you and give advise on how to drive your own team of dogs. Enjoy the thrilling ride through the winter forest before returning to the farm where hot drinks will be served around the open fire.
