Greenland : Traditional East Greenland

The below is a suggestion only; additional nights may be added either in Reykjavik, Kulusuk or Tasiilaq, subject to flight schedules - please call our office to discuss your travel plans.

Day 1 fly from UK to Keflavik, transfer to accommodation in Reykjavik. 

Day 2 take a short taxi ride (payable locally) to Reykjavik City Airport, for your flight to Kulusuk (on a Monday/Wednesday/Saturday). Either transfer to Hotel Kulusuk to enjoy two or more nights here, or take a further helicopter transfer on to Tasiilaq for two or more nights at Hotel Ammassalik. 

Day 3 perhaps follow one of the walking trails exploring the stunning Arctic scenery, or choose an optional excursion such as a boat trip to a glacier or helicopter flight to the icecap. 

Day 4 those staying at Tasiilaq will transfer by helicopter back to Kulusuk, then onwards to the airport for return flight to Reykjavik. Take a short taxi ride (payable locally) to your accommodation in Iceland’s capital. 

Day 5 transfer to Keflavik and fly back to the UK.

From the UK everyday June to August. In May and September subject to flights schedules, as a limited service is offered – please contact us for details. 

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
A variety of excursions are available from both Kulusuk and Tasiilaq, which may be booked and paid for locally, these include iceberg cruises, visits to remote villages, guided hikes and helicopter glacier trips – further information is posted on the excursions page of this tour.  Please note all excursions are dependent on weather and minimum numbers - some may not operate during May.
