Day 1 Reykjavik fly from the UK to Keflavik, collect your rental vehicle and drive to Reykjavik for an overnight stay at the centrally located Hotel Thingholt, perhaps taking a dip in the world-famous Blue Lagoon en route (at additional cost - prepayable).

Day 2 Reykjavik-Hotel Ranga drive out from the capital through increasingly rural landscapes to Hotel Ranga, approximately 2 hours drive. Check in for a 4 night stay – rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps try out one of the bubbling jacuzzis at the hotel, with amazing views of the River Ranga.

Days 3-5 Hotel Ranga explore the magnificent countryside and relax at the hotel. From here it is quite feasible to drive as far east as the glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon, as well as discover the fascinating areas further inland and along the southern coast. The staff at the hotel would be more than pleased to give their recommendations!

Day 6 Hotel Ranga-Reykjavik return to the capital, taking the famed Golden Circle route visiting Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park. Return to Hotel Thingholt, located next to the capital's main shopping street of Laugavegur, and within walking distance of Reykjavik's fantastic restaurants, for a final overnight stay.

Day 7 depart Keflavik after breakfast drive to Keflavik Airport, drop off your rental vehicle and fly back to the UK.
