Itinerary
Day 1 arrive Iceland fly from UK to Keflavik. Transfer provided (complimentary basis) from the airport to Northern Light Inn (approx. 15 mins), for your three night stay.
Day 2 Blue Lagoon after breakfast stroll along to the Blue Lagoon for your first chance to swim or simply float in the warm, milky-blue waters (1 x entry fee per person is included). Set amidst a field of black basalt lava, the temperature in this stunning lagoon averages a relaxing 35-40 degrees celsius. The area’s powder- blue mineral rich waters mix with seawater, creating a relaxing experience. There is a lovely café, the unique and exclusive Lava Restaurant, as well as a sauna, a relaxation area and various Spa and massage treatments available at an additional cost (prebookable – contact us). Back at the hotel, enjoy possible northern lights viewing if conditions permit!

Day 3 at leisure to explore your Iceland escape can be as relaxing or busy as you choose; you may opt to return to the Blue Lagoon to relax away those tensions (the silica mud pots are wonderful for tired skin!). If you are feeling rejuvenated already then go explore! Choose a group excursion or travel independently (see below). Hire a car from the airport and head out for a day’s exploration of the Reykjanes Peninsula, with its lighthouses, Saltfish Museum, bubbling mudpools at Krisuvik, and sweeping lava fields. Alternatively drive the famous Golden Circle route taking in waterfalls, geysirs and Thingvellir National Park! Or you may choose to simply curl up in the lounge area of the hotel with a good book and relax!
Day 4 depart Iceland complimentary transfer provided by Northern Light Inn to Keflavik (approx. 15 mins) for the flight back to the UK.
