Eskifjordur is reached either by a short domestic flight from Reykjavik to the East Fjords (Egilsstadir), or is a scenic few days’ drive along the south coast to Eskifjordur. The 5 newly built 39sqm cottages have their own balcony and porch, kitchen/diner/living room with double sofa bed, shower room with toilet, and 2 rooms on the second floor (each with 2 single beds).  Eskifjordur is the ideal spot from which to explore; the East Fjords as well as Lake Myvatn are within easy reach of the area on day trips, or stay local and explore the beautiful Fjardabyggd region by little boat, on horseback, or foot.
