Blue Ice - Glacier Hiking & Ice Climbing

This excursion takes you to the frozen glacial tongue of Solheimajokull. Accompanied by an expert guide, walk with crampons up onto the ice field where a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and crevasses awaits. Along the way can try your hand at ice climbing (equipment provided) on one of the impressive ice walls. Includes approx. 4 hrs on the glacier, glacier gear and safety equipment. Bring warm clothing, rain gear and hiking boots. *Available with transfers from Reykjavik, or meet at the Solheimajokull car park (11:30 daily for self-drive clients).
Minimum age 14 years. Level: easy.

The award-winning Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s premier attractions. Set amidst a field of black basalt lava, the temperature in this stunning lagoon averages a relaxing 35-40°C and powder-blue mineral rich waters mix with seawater. The concept is ingenious, the experience therapeutic and totally relaxing.
Deep Into the Blue - Diving Tour

Possibly one of the most unique dives you'll ever experience! Two dives allow you to
explore below the surface at Thingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; it is here that the
Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Silfra fissure is the world-class dive
site, between 10-30 metres deep and with crystal clear waters - explore the lava walls and dive
between the earth's crust! Supplement to take a dry-suit speciality qualification is
an additional £139 per licence. Snorkellers can join this trip for £72 per person. Dive
qualification requirement: PADI open water or compatible required, PADI advanced and dry suit
certificates recommended. All dives are performed in a dry suit. Age limit: 18 years.
Available with transfers from Reykjavik (10-10:30 20 Nov - 20 Jan) or meet at Thingvellir
service centre/campsite (for self-drive clients).
Eyjafjallajokull Volcano by Superjeep and Lava Hike

This unique superjeep and hiking tour explores the other-worldly Fimmvorduhals area in South Iceland, where the volcanic eruption of April-May 2010 started. Departs from Hotel Ranga and other nearby accommodation.
Horse Riding in the South West

Experience riding the world's most pure-bred horse on a choice of riding excursions close to Hveragerdi, around a half hour drive from Reykjavik. From Eldhestar Horse Riding Centre (Vellir Farm) choose excursions lasting from one to a three hours. Riders are matched with horses according to experience.
Hot Springs Hunt - Hiking Tour

Enjoy a 7km half day hike (approx. 3 hrs total walking) in a beautiful area filled
with hot springs and bubbling mud pools; the Reykjadalur (the Valley of Smoke), under an hour's
drive from Reykjavik. Explore the lower slopes of the Hellisheidi mountain range and the
outskirts of the town of Hveragerdi, famous for its greenhouses, hot springs and flowers. Bring
your swimsuit as during the trek there is a stop for a relaxing bathe in a naturally heated
river.
Minimum age 10 yrs. Available either including transfers from Reykjavik, or meet the
excursion at the 'N1' petrol station at Hveragerdi (departs 09:30 for self-drive
clients).
Ice and Fire Sightseeing Flight

Enjoy a thrilling rafting excursion on the Hvita River (pronounced Kveetau) - one of the most popular adventure activities in Iceland. The Hvita river is just a little more than an hour from Reykjavik and has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. Available either including transfers from Reykjavik, or meet the excursion at the rafting base camp, near Geysir hot springs (for self-drive clients).
Entrance to the sauna at the base camp is included, together with soup and bread! Minimum age 12 yrs. Suitable for beginner rafters.
