Join a morning tour of the city featuring Mt Eden viewpoint, Auckland War Memorial Museum, urban beaches, the Harbour Bridge and popular dining and shopping villages. After the tour you will be transferred to Auckland's most prominent landmark, the Sky Tower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, where you will access the main viewing platform, enjoying breathtaking city views 186 metres above sea level.

Travel by coach to Lake Manapouri, then cruise across the crystal waters of the lake. Continue by coach over Wilmot Pass through dense rainforest. At Deep Cove board the Fiordland Navigator for a leisurely exploration of Doubtful Sound.  The vessel has spacious deck areas offering stunning views of waterfalls, abundant wildlife, rainforest and mountains and in late afternoon it anchors in a secluded spot where a 3-course buffet evening meal is served. Optional excursions by kayak or tender vessels are available at no extra cost.  The following morning enjoy breakfast and further cruising before returning to Te Anau.

Farewell Spit, the northernmost point of the South Island, has been a sanctuary since the 1930's and is home to over 90 species of bird, most importantly, waders. The tidal range is huge - at low tide over 9 km of sand flats sweep out to the clear blue waters of Golden Bay allowing you to see many of the waders feeding. At the Farewell Spit lighthouse there is time to explore around the historic buildings and enjoy the refreshments provided in the century old lighthouse keeper's residence.
