Sunset Trail SD

This succinct North Island itinerary explores the lesser-visited areas of Taranaki and Kings Country. Comprising fertile farming country, picturesque gardens and in the case of the former a surf-swept coastline. Cone shaped Mt Taranaki is the most instantly recognisable feature of this region, while Waitomo, south of Auckland is famous for its underground caves.
