Sweden : ICEHOTEL Break

Your ICEHOTEL holiday includes a night in a standard double Snow Room (optional*) and 2 or 3 nights in a choice of heated accommodation. Please find the basic itinerary below. You may stay extra nights at the ICEHOTEL, subject to availability, or in the capital, Stockholm. Please contact our office to discuss your holiday plans.

Day 1 fly UK to Kiruna (either direct or via Stockholm) and transfer to Jukkasjarvi. You can upgrade to a transfer by snowmobile or husky sledge. Check in at the ICEHOTEL for a 3 or 4 night stay and have a guided tour. You can upgrade to an Art Suite if you wish. 

Days 2-3/4 time to enjoy optional activities or just soak up your surrounds. Please note, activities should be booked in advance to ensure availability. 

Days 4/5 check out of the ICEHOTEL and transfer to Kiruna for the return flight to UK (either direct or via Stockholm)

Note guests at the Icehotel will be provided with a one-piece thermal suit, mittens, hat and thermal waterproof boots for use during their stay at the ICEHOTEL. The exact order of the itinerary will be given at the time of confirming your booking. 

*Optional Snow Room Experience
Sleeping in an Snow Room is a great experience and what most people come here to do. However, if you prefer to spend all your nights in heated accommodation this is also possible, subject to availability. There is much to offer during this winter break and the experience is just as unforgettable wherever you sleep!

If you are unsure about a Snow Room or perhaps have back problems but would still like to try it, some people book the standard package and reserve an additional back-up warm room. This requires a supplement and is subject to availability. For more details please visit our accommodation page and FAQ page. Children and the Icehotel 
The Icehotel is not the most child- friendly of hotels particularly for very young children; there will be restrictions when taking part in excursions as most activities will need participants to be a minimum age of 8 years old. However, if you still choose to go ahead and book, we would strongly advise you to book warm accommodation for the duration of your stay. Our expert team will be happy to answer your questions.

The ICEHOTEL does not provide a Children’s Menu in the restaurants.
