Which Voyage?
VOYAGES TO THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA
Easily accessible from Argentina or Chile, from 7 to 20 days duration and with an abundance of wildlife, these are the ideal options for a first-time visit to Antarctica.
Classic Antarctica
Ideal for first-time visitors to the Antarctic, our best-selling Antarctic voyages explore the abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery of the Peninsula and the South Shetland Islands. Voyages depart from and return to Ushuaia, Argentina.
Peninsula, South Georgia & the Falkland Islands
An extended version of our Classic Antarctica, including an exploration of the beautiful and wild Falkland Islands and wildlife-rich South Georgia, site of Shackleton’s final resting place and home to countless king penguins.
Crossing the Circle
A longer version of our Classic Antarctica voyage, taking in all the usual highlights but with an emphasis on pushing further south with the aim to cross the Antarctic Circle at 66° 33’ South.
Peninsula Fly-In
Classic Antarctica with a twist – instead of sailing across the Drake Passage, save time and fly straight from Punta Arenas, Chile, to the South Shetlands. Here you will board your ship for a Peninsula cruise, before flying back to Chile. Also available as fly one way, sail the other.
VOYAGES TO EAST ANTARCTICA
Longer voyages starting and ending in Australia or New Zealand, for those with more time at 26 to 31 days duration. Fascinating wildlife and spectacular scenery, but the real highlight is the chance to follow in the footsteps of legendary polar explorers such as Scott, Shackleton, d’Urville, Mawson and Amundsen.
East Antarctica / Ross Sea Centennial
These longer voyages offer a rare chance to see the Antarctic continent’s towering Ross Ice Shelf and the fascinating huts of legendary explorers. These itineraries are ideal for voyagers with an interest in the history of polar exploration, with an abundance of wildlife also on offer. Departing from New Zealand or Tasmania, Australia.
VOYAGES TO THE SUB-ANTARCTIC ISLANDS
Lasting from 13 to 19 days, these voyages are the ideal option for keen birders and for those who want to visit some of the world’s most remote islands.
Galapagos Of The Southern Ocean / Birding Downunder
The remote island groups between New Zealand and Antarctica are known as the Sub-Antarctics and are home to the most diverse collection of seabirds in the world. These itineraries focus on this region’s astonishing array of birdlife as well as unique and hardy flora.
LAND-BASED ANTARCTIC HOLIDAYS
A more active adventure, experiencing the Antarctic Interior is like nothing else on earth. With little or no wildlife in evidence, follow in the footsteps of intrepid explorers with a range of activities available throughout the 7-8 days holiday.
Antarctic Odyssey / South Pole Adventure
Both packages are based in comfortable camp accommodation, 400 miles from the coast. Experience cross-country ski-ing, hiking, climbing, camping trips and snowmobile excursions. The South Pole Adventure option also includes a full day excursion by air to the South Pole, with the chance to meet the current residents at the US base here.

Show Me More»Personally, in my humble opinion, anyone who goes to Antarctica is mad if they don't go to South Georgia... it must be one of the most stunning places on the planet.
