Australia Self Drive

All motorhomes have fridge/freezer, microwave, gas stove, sink, hot/cold pressurized water (except for Spirit 2 Grande which has cold water only), shower & toilet (except for Spirit 2 Grande), radio/CD, fly screens, power steering, air conditioning, automatic transmission, diesel engine (except for Spirit 2 Grande which is unleaded petrol), living equipment (bedding, cooking equipment, eating utensils, towels), matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap, map and driving tips.

Spirit 2 Grande
The Spirit 2 Grande is an outstanding campervan that caters for a couple in absolute comfort. With a huge double bed, full kitchen facilities, generous fridge and full head room, you can be sure your campervan journey around Australia will be relaxing and carefree. Automatic transmission makes driving a breeze. Please note that this vehicle does not feature a shower or toilet. Maximum capacity 2 adults.

Spirit 2 T/S
The Spirit 2TS is a generously sized campervan for 2 adults. Added features such as a spacious living area, excellent interior height and a huge double bed will make for a comfortable & relaxing campervan holiday. This vehicle features a toilet and shower. Maximum capacity 2 adults.

Spirit 4
Ideal for a group of friends or a family of up to four, this motorhome offers room to move about whilst cooking and entertaining. Packed with features such as two comfortable double beds, shower, toilet, gas stove and fridge. Maximum capacity 4 adults; baby and child booster seats can be fitted in this vehicle.

Spirit 6
The Spirit 6 is the perfect motorhome for cruising the wide open spaces of Australia. With three double beds, a shower and toilet, gas stove, fridge and even a DVD player. All you need is some great local cuisine and the company of your closest friends. Maximum capacity 6 adults; baby and child booster seats can be fitted in this vehicle. 

Spirit 4WD
The Spirit 4WD has powerful 4.5L turbo diesel V8 engine, perfect for venturing into the vast Australian landscape. The ingenious slide-out kitchen allows you to prepare all your meals with ease and a large comfortable double bed allows you to get a refreshing nights sleep ready for the next day’s adventure. The large & versatile awning gives you plenty of protected outdoor area for relaxing and dining.

Please ask for a copy of our vehicle rentals factsheet for full details regarding insurance excess reduction options, minimum hire periods, one-way rental fees and other local payments. These do vary depending on the location and category of vehicle hire. 

Locations
Maui has depots in most of Australia’s key cities; please ask for details regarding the vehicle categories available at specific locations. 

Licence Requirements
A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required. If the driver’s licence is not in the English language then an international driver’s licence is also required. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. The original driver’s licence must be shown at time of pick-up when the driver is present.

The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years. If you are over the age of 75 years, a medical certificate is required at time of vehicle collection stating you are medically fit to operate a motor vehicle.
