UNITED CAMPERVANS Sleeping 2-6 persons, shower and toilet are standard on all models, as are fridge/freezer, gas stove, sink, hot and cold pressurised water, gas and/or electric heating, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. WINTER TRAVEL
For Motorhome travel in New Zealand's winter months (June-August) we would recommend purchasing a "Winter Combo" (extra duvet, thermos and hot water bottle and/or heater). Prices and further details are available from our sales team on request.
HOLIDAY PARKS
One of the pleasures of driving a motorhome around New Zealand is that you can park free of charge just about anywhere away from the main tourist areas. Those wanting a little more in the way of facilities are very well catered for with powered and non-powered campsites found throughout the country, often in first-rate locations. A powered site at a Holiday Park for a motorhome and 2 adults will cost approximately £8-15 per night. Many parks now also offer a wide range of cabins, motel units, villas and backpacker style units. There is also the option of the cheaper, but basic, DOC campsites.
