Travelling by road between Keflavik Airport's Leifur Eriksson Terminal and the centre of Reykjavik takes around 40-50 minutes. Here we set out your transfer options – just contact our office for further details.

THE FLYBUS
The standard airport transfer is operated by Flybus. If you book this service in advance the cost is £10 per person one way (children 12- 17 years £5). Discover the World supplies pre-paid vouchers which passengers would present to the driver as they board the bus outside the terminal building. Flybus delivers passengers to the central BSI Bus Terminal where they would then board a minibus to their relevant hotel. For the return journey, passengers must reconfirm their minibus pick up time with Flybus – a simple phone call handled by the staff at the hotel reception.

TAXI TRANSFER
It is possible for Discover the World to book a private taxi transfer for you at a special rate, when booked in advance. The approximate rate for a single journey is around £19 per person, based on 4 persons per vehicle (maximum occupancy 3 adults and 1 child). Larger taxis taking up to 8 passengers are also available.

SUPERJEEP TRANSFER
For something really different, book the ultimate in Icelandic transport! These specially adapted vehicles with enormous tyres, satellite navigation and all manner of additional bells and whistles, carry between 5 and 10 passengers. Rather than the direct route into the capital, the superjeeps take the longer scenic route so you can immediately begin to appreciate the nature of Iceland as well as the ‘go anywhere’ boasts of these magnificent vehicles.

Prices start at around £66 per person for a single journey based on 5 sharing - duration approximately 3 hours. However, you can also book a direct route drive into Reykjavik if preferred – please call for details.
