Horses & Glaciers Day Trip Duration: 10-11 hours (including ice walk 2hrs, riding 1.5-2hrs), min age 10 yrs Departures: From Reykjavik, June to September This day tour starts with a 1.5-2 hours pony trekking / riding tour in the spirit of the Vikings. After a traditional meal, the tour continues towards the great Myrdalsjokull glacier, one of Iceland’s biggest. Have a go at iceclimbing and discover a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses, hiding the deep blue colour of the glacier ice. |
