Antarctica : Orion

Type: Luxury Max capacity: 106 passengers

Though custom-made for expedition cruising, with an ice-strengthened hull, Orion is the epitome of elegance. A full complement of Zodiacs are carried onboard whilst a range of facilities make this ship the perfect choice for adventure in comfort.

Introduction

Constructed in Germany in 2003, no expense has been spared when it comes to the quality of fittings and furnishings on Orion, and the range and calibre of onboard recreational facilities are nothing short of five-star. Orion's luxurious appointments means she is more mega-yacht than cruise ship and her guests are all cared for in 5-star comfort by a crew of 75.

Onboard facilities include a restaurant, observation lounge and bar, library, state-of-the-art lecture theatre, gym, Jacuzzi, hair & beauty salon, glass elevator and a medical room.

All cabins are well appointed with ocean views, private marble bathrooms with towels and robes, and lower beds throughout (either twin, double or queen). Amenities include complementary 24-hour room service, a flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, a personal safe, hairdryer and a mini-refrigerator continuously stocked with complimentary bottled water.
