Wedding Extras

When it comes to planning your special day, Discover the World can put together a package that encompasses just about everything, from your accommodation down to the menu for your wedding dinner. Over the many years that we have been operating weddings to our stunning destinations, we have built up an extensive range of contacts all committed to ensuring your wedding goes off without a hitch. From photography to hairdressers and bouquets to buttonholes, we think we’ve covered just about everything.

Hairdressing

Cruising through the Arctic tundra on the back of a snowmobile or a husky sledge is perhaps not the best preparation the day before your wedding! We know hairdressers right across all of our wedding destinations to ensure you're fully prepared and pampered for your special day.

Wedding Photography

We are sure you will want to capture every moment of your special day on film and we can arrange local photographers in all of our wedding destinations. We are pleased to work with internationally recognised wedding photographer Steve Tarling at the ICEHOTEL and can book his services for you.

Wedding Cakes & Decoration

Discover the World can order a wedding cake to be delivered to you at your chosen wedding destination – and at the ICEHOTEL, personalised ice sculptures can be delivered to serve as dramatic table centrepieces. Please contact us for information.

Other Services

We endeavour to fulfill any requests, no matter how extravagant, discrete or individual, from bridal bouquets down to the music you would like played during the service. Please contact us with your requirements and we will work with you to organise your perfect wedding.

Planning your wedding

Creating your dream wedding in any of our winter wonderland destinations is an easier process than you might imagine however you will need to book with us at least 3 months before your proposed wedding day, allowing enough time to apply for all the relevant forms and legal paperwork. However, we would recommend allowing for more time if travelling in a wedding party of 10 or more. Location, venues and accommodation are subject to availability and we advise that the ICEHOTEL can be booked up more than a year in advance.
