James Bond is back…to the Bahamas?
Article

Rumours are circulating that the new James Bond film, Casino Royale, will be partly filmed in The Bahamas. Starring the new "007", Daniel Craig, scenes may be shot on and around Paradise Island...

The Bahamas isn't a new destination for Bond as both "Thunderball" and "Never Say Never Again" were shot on location around the islands.

Casino Royale, the 21st James Bond film, will be directed by Martin Campbell and shooting is scheduled to commence on January 17th 2006 for release on October 19th 2006. Watch this space!

Filming is also currently taking place for "Pirates of the Caribbean II and III", starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The location being used is Grand Bahama and most days the infamous "Black Pearl" can be seen out at sea!

Additionally the recently released "Into The Blue" was filmed just off the coast of Nassau and follows the story of four divers who find sunken treasure - unfortunately it's also next to a plane full of illegal cargo. Starring Jessica Alba and Paul Walker "Into The Blue" is a high-stakes thriller set in the deep waters of The Bahamas.

If you'd like to follow in the footsteps of the rich and famous and visit these film locations then Discover the Bahamas offer a great choice of properties on both Nassau/Paradise Island ( www.discover-the-bahamas.co.uk/NEWPR ) and Grand Bahama (

).

We can even arrange twin-centre holidays so you can visit both!
