| Of the seven fells here, Yllas at 718 metres is one of the highest in Lapland and visitors are often overcome by the magnificent scenery covered in a deep blanket of snow and never-ending vistas.
On this wonderful short break, a night is spent at the Snow Village and two in the splendid Hotel Yllas Saaga in Yllasjarvi, combining the ‘sleeping on ice’ experience with a chance to luxuriate in a genuine Finnish sauna and much more besides. The Saaga is a ski resort hotel with excellent facilities including a marvellous spa and health complex with an indoor pool, a stone cave hot tub, several saunas, steam room and a gym. A range of massage and pampering treatments to help you relax and unwind after a day out enjoying the snow, are available at additional cost. There is also an excellent chance of witnessing the northern lights during your visit. Need we say more!
