S is for Snow…
Finland is full of the stuff at wintertime making it the perfect place to try out some snow-based activities. Then there’s big kid fun. Snowmobiling, husky sledging, snowshoeing, sleds and toboggans, cross-country skiing and much more. At Lainio snow village there is also the snow village with an ice maze and snow slides for children. Snow here is truly amazing and for children of all ages, making a snow angel or simply building a snowman is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
S is for Stunning…
Yes the Finnish ladies may indeed be that, but so are the landscapes. Many of our Finnish Lapland trips are based in wonderful fell areas in the north, where chances of seeing the northern lights are at its best. With miles of unbroken wilderness and magnificent scenery, you can choose from a number of different regions including the picturesque north-western region of Muonio, the fell area of Yllas or perhaps Saariselka above the Arctic Circle. Whichever one you are drawn to, you’ll experience an unspoilt all set in a deep blanket of snow. |
