| Decorated throughout in a modern Scandinavian style, the single-storey Lava House sleeps up to 12 and is extremely well appointed with five bedrooms, two bathrooms and its own gas barbeque and outdoor hot tub located on the wrap around deck!
The house is set in rural surrounds, not far from Lake Myvatn with its wealth of surreal volcanic features and the Nature Baths, the region's answer to the Blue Lagoon. The views around the house are uninterrupted across the Adaldalur Valley and this provides an ideal location, if conditions are right, for viewing spectacular displays of the northern lights (September – April) or enjoying long, balmy days under the midnight sun (May – July). It is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of this part of Iceland.
