It isn’t too early to plan your next winter escape and with our new Lapland brochure you’ll be spoilt for choice. If you’re looking for some Arctic adventure then we have just the thing. Head north to Finnmark in Norway and experience king crabs, spectacular displays of the northern lights and a host of snow bound activities…
Finnmark is the name given to the northernmost county in Norway and if you’re after some variety on holiday then this is the ideal place! Finnmark is so large and the population so widely dispersed, visitors experience a true sense of the wilderness around them and from the end of November to around the middle of April, snow is plentiful all over the region. |

Because of this, snowy activities abound and on this holiday three are included: husky sledging, snowmobiling and fishing for mighty King Crabs which sometimes grow up to 2m across, but these monsters also provide a delicious lunch! Alta and the North Cape are also known as hotspots for sightings of the northern lights.
Our specially-designed 5-night trip is part guided part independent and tailored for a group of between 6 and 12 participants. Prices start from £1697 per person based on two sharing on a half board basis. Price includes most meals included as well as excursions to the North Cape, husky sledging, a King Crab Safari, a night on the Hurtigruten and a night in an ice room. Trip departs February and March 2008.
