Auckland-Waitomo-Rotorua
Pick up from your hotel or the city centre and head south by scheduled coach through the Bombay Hills to the pasturelands of the Waikato. Passing Hamilton, you soon reach the Waitomo Caves, where you take an enchanting subterranean boat cruise to the famous glow worm grotto. After lunch (included) continue to Rotorua, New Zealand’s acclaimed geothermal area where you stay for the night. We recommend the optional hangi and Maori concert tonight (at additional cost). |

Exploring Rotorua
This morning you take a scheduled sightseeing tour to visit some of Rotorua’s best attractions, including the Whakarewarewa geothermal reserve, the native garden at Paradise Valley Springs and the entertaining and informative Agrodome Sheep Show. Afternoon departure by scheduled coach back to Auckland where the tour ends at around 18.15 at your hotel. |
