Auckland to Auckland (6 days)
Spend a relaxing six days when you’ll have
the chance to explore New Zealand’s cosmopolitan capital, visit it’s geothermal centre and experience some of it’s most beautiful scenery and beaches as you journey along the Pacific Coast Highway to Coromandel.
Outline Itinerary
Day 1: arrive Auckland
Arrive at Auckland airport and transfer to your hotel in central location around Auckland. Your documentation will be handed to you by your driver.
Day 2: Auckland
Take a morning cruise across the harbour to Waiheke Island taking approx. 30 minutes. Join the Explorer tour and experience the scenic highlights of this relaxing island. Enjoy the cafes and craft shops before returning by ferry to Auckland.
Day 3: Auckland-Coromandel
Travel by coach along the Pacific Coast Highway Thames to the town of Coromandel, before continuing onto Pauanui/Tairua and your hotel for 2 nights.
Day 4: Coromandel
Day at leisure. Take an optional tour to the see the beautiful beaches of Mercury Bay or perhaps opt for a walking tour.
Day 5: Coromandel-Rotorua
Take the morning to explore more of Coromandel before travelling to New Zealand’s geothermal centre, Rotorua. Explore the sights in and around the town by coach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Rotorua-Auckland
Return to Auckland where the tour ends at the Sky City coach terminal in the early evening. You can also choose to remain in Rotorua from where you could extend your tour at extra cost.
