Wilderness Adventurer

Expedition Image

Type: Expedition ship

Introduction

Max capacity: 60 passengers

The Wilderness Adventurer is a comfortable vessel, recently refurbished and boasting a full complement of adventure equipment. With just 60 passengers on board, more time can be spent exploring in-depth and enjoying up-close wildlife encounters.

Refurbished in 2011, the Wilderness Adventurer has been carefully designed to offer an expedition-style experience, both on board the ship and in the water.

The sun deck features a hot tub and fitness centre; the observation deck allows for unobstructed views over the bow, and the main deck’s launch platform provides easy access to the water, whether you choose to go by kayak, zodiac or paddle board. Additional equipment on board includes hiking poles, yoga mats, hydrophones for eavesdropping on whales, and underwater cameras. Socializing takes place in the cosy main lounge, whilst hearty meals are served in the separate dining room.

Cabins are simple but comfortable with memory-foam mattresses, TV/DVD and i-pod docking stations. All cabins feature external views and private facilities.
