Wilderness Discoverer

Expedition Image

Type: Expedition ship

Introduction

Max capacity: 76 passengers

Sister ship to the Wilderness Adventurer, the slightly larger Wilderness Discoverer still carries just 76 guests and has been carefully designed to offer small-ship expedition cruising in comfort.

Wilderness Discoverer underwent extensive refurbishment in 2011 and amenities include a cosy lodge-style lounge area, separate dining room and extensive outside viewing.

Three accessible decks are fully equipped for comfort and action. The sun deck has a sauna and fitness equipment; the observation deck boasts the ultimate in viewing from two outside hot tubs; and the launch platform on the main deck provide easy access to the water. Onboard equipment includes kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, zodiacs (inflatable skiffs), hiking poles, yoga mats, hydrophones and a bow-mounted underwater camera. Massage treatments are also available onboard.

Comfortable cabins each offer memory-foam mattresses, TV/DVD and i-pod docking stations. All cabins feature external views and private facilities.
