Resting at the southern end of the island's six mile road network, the 9 room Capella Lodge offers unsurpassed views over the ocean towards the towering peaks of Mounts Gower and Lidgbird.

Each of the nine suites is beach-house luxury, featuring timber floors, king bed, Bose music system, TV/DVD and WiFi. There is no mobile reception on Lord Howe Island. Carefully designed to maximize the views, the bar, restaurant and lounge all feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a horizon plunge pool in which to cool off. The restaurant's Pacific-themed menu offers top-quality fresh produce from New South Wales and Lord Howe Island itself and changes daily.

A relaxed atmosphere throughout is encouraged and the friendly staff are always happy to chat and help plan out your day. The onsite spa invites travellers to relax either in the ultra-chic interior, or closer to nature in the outdoor Kentia Pavilion. Other amenities include a library and internet kiosk as well as complimentary canoes, mountain bikes and snorkels for use during your stay.
