Introduction

Built in 1859, Hillsdale House has been welcoming visitors to the National Historic District of Annapolis Royal for over 150 years. The inn is situated amidst gardens on a beautiful 12-acre estate, just minutes from one of the oldest European settlements in the New World, Port Royal, and a short drive from the phenomenal tides of the Bay of Fundy.

Hillsdale House offers 13 well-appointed guestrooms combining a refreshing mix of Victorian charm, timeless hospitality and many of the comforts of modern lifestyle. Each room is individually decorated with fine antiques and paintings, and has its own private ensuite bathroom. In the morning awake to the the aroma of freshly ground coffee, muffins baking and bacon cooking as your full country-style breakfast, including Hillsdale's own handmade bread and jams, is served in the elegant dining room.
